The Damask roses cape noble coat is an event coat. It has been designed with splits in the sleeves to show the under neath layer of your blouse or indeed to show the prettiest part of your arm.
The effect is cape like and so the coat is dressy. The coat is based on our noble coat so it is a straight shape that finishes just above the knee. It has a round neck and self covered buttons.
Behind the design
Damask Rose
Big cabbage roses printed onto damask cotton always evoke historical references for Megan. This print is an homage to designs like this and to take it a step further she has overdyed the print to knock back the contrast and make it feel vintage like your grandmas furnishings. The damask roses design has been digitally printed onto a viscose twill fabric which has a heavy slightly shiny drape. It has then been overdyed with a caramel colour to give it an old world patina. The end result is quite beautiful and soft in colouring.
