We absolutely love the Emporium frock coat as it has a high waist that falls elegantly over the body making this the ideal coat for going over just about anything. The frock coat is derived from a country garment with a wide flat collar called a frock. The Megan Salmon frock coat has such a collar and a full length sleeve and is designed to finish just above the knee. It is certainly a nod to the types of dresses and coats you might find in a Jane Austin novel and it has all of the romance and beauty of such but with a contemporay twist that makes it an ideal choice. We love it over trousers as much as dresses and skirts.

Many years ago whilst in Bangkok, Megan took a photograph of an illustration featuring a woman sitting on cushions. Revisiting the image Megan created a design that feels like the woman is sitting in a luxurious emporium setting. The artwork has been digitally printed onto cotton poly elastane, producing a rich colour palette, and stretch for the perfect fit.
